Roofline Lighting Installation in Greater Houston
Your roofline is the defining feature of your home's silhouette. TruLight's permanent LED track follows every peak, valley, and corner to create a continuous line of light that transforms your home after dark. One installation, every color, controlled from your phone.
Why Roofline Lighting Is the Most Popular Install
The roofline is where most homeowners start, and for good reason. It outlines the entire shape of your home and creates the biggest visual impact from the street.
Precision Contour Fit
Every track is custom-cut and bent on site to follow your exact roofline. Gable peaks, hip corners, flat transitions, and eave returns all get a clean, continuous line of light.
Built for Gulf Coast Weather
The sealed aluminum track handles driving rain, constant humidity, hurricane-season wind, and triple-digit heat. No sagging, no cracking, no color fade.
6 LEDs Per Light
3 RGB + 3 dedicated warm white LEDs in every light. That is twice the brightness of competitors and produces a visible glow from the street, not just up close.
Invisible by Day
The low-profile track gets color-matched to your trim and fascia. During the day, nobody knows it is there. At night, your roofline comes alive.
Lifetime Warranty
Every roofline installation is backed by a lifetime warranty. Transferable if you sell your home.
How Roofline Installation Works
Measure Your Roofline
We take precise measurements of every run, angle, and transition on your roof. Start with our satellite estimator for a quick price range, then use our "See Your Home with TruLight" preview to draw your roofline and see what warm white, holiday colors, and more look like on your actual home before we install.
Custom-Cut and Install
On installation day, our crew cuts each section of track to your exact measurements, bends it around corners and peaks, and mounts it flush to your roofline. Wiring is routed cleanly and sealed.
Light It Up
We connect the controller, walk you through the TruLight app, and help you pick your first look. Warm white, holiday colors, or anything in between.
Every Roofline Install Includes
Every Roofline Type, Handled
Homes around Houston come in every architectural style. Older neighborhoods inside the Loop run to steep gables and deep porches. Newer developments in Katy, Cypress, and Fulshear lean toward hip roofs with softer angles and long eave runs. Plenty of homes mix both, with dormers, flat porch sections, or covered entries.
TruLight's aluminum track handles all of them. We bend the track on site to follow the exact angle of each peak and valley. Inside corners get a clean 90-degree joint. Outside corners wrap smoothly. Eave returns and fascia transitions get their own custom-fitted sections so the line of light never breaks.
The Gulf Coast puts its own stress on roofline fixtures. Months of high humidity, wind-driven rain, and relentless summer UV are what kill temporary lighting here, usually within a season or two. TruLight's track is sealed against water intrusion, and the aluminum profile sheds rain rather than holding it against the fascia. The 48V system also runs efficiently across long roofline spans without extra power injection points.
We serve homeowners across Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, and Brazoria Counties. Whether your home is in Sugar Land, Pearland, Katy, Cypress, or anywhere else around Houston, we will get your roofline dialed in.

Frequently Asked Questions
We install on every common roofline type in the Houston area: standard gable, hip, Dutch gable, flat sections, shed dormers, and mixed-profile roofs. The aluminum track bends cleanly around peaks, valleys, inside corners, and outside corners. If your home has an unusual roofline, we will work out the details during your free consultation.
Not at all. The track mounts below the fascia and soffit, so it never touches your gutters or roof. Your drainage, gutter guards, and heated gutter systems all function exactly as they did before installation.
The aluminum track is sealed against water intrusion, and the smooth profile sheds rain rather than holding it against the fascia. It is mechanically fastened, not taped or glued, so it does not release in wind-driven rain the way an adhesive-mounted product can. The components are also rated well below the coldest temperature Houston has recorded, so a hard January freeze is not a concern.
No. We use fasteners designed for your specific roofline material and seal every penetration point against moisture. The track actually protects the mounting area from direct UV and weather exposure.
Most single-story homes take 4 to 6 hours. Two-story homes and homes with complex rooflines typically take 6 to 8 hours. Everything is completed in a single day.
